Well it's the end of 2008 and 2009 is about to begin. I haven't make a New Years resolution in years but I thought that this time I would give it a try. Of course there is the loose weight and exercise more. I also need to go on a yarn diet. Too much stash and projects still left over from Stitches 2006 to finish. I need to balance the time between knitting and reading better. Maybe books on tape will help.

Thanks to the help my son gave me I figured out how to use flickr.

This scarf was inspired by the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowlings. I read the first 4 books to my son and listen to the last ones on audio tape. It's fun to have someone else read to you and makes it possible for me to knit and listen to the latest books at the same time. The pattern for this scarf is on the internet under Illusion knitting.

I hope to figure out more about using flicker and other accounts to make my blog more interesting. I just recieved the new Vogue Knitting on the Go Shawls 2 book and hope to do a book review soon.
