The Truly Terribly Horrible Sweater That Grandma Knit

We just go in a childrens book called The Truly Terribly Horrible Sweater That Grandma Knit by Debbie Macomber and Mary Lou Carney-A Blossom Street Kids Book-
It's about Cameron and a sweater his Grandma Susan knit him for his birthday. As you can tell by the title he doesn't like the sweater and tries to think of ways to get rid of it. Then several months later Grandma Susan comes for Christmas. His mom wants him to wear his sweater to train station to great her. Cameron can has a hard time beliving that he looks as handsome in the sweater as his grandmother claims. The next day she tells him a story of how she picked the colors and thought of him while making the sweater and all of a sudden the sweater looks wonderful.
It's a sweet story and has instructions in the back of the book for making the sweater.

Thanks so much for posting about this book. There are precious few kids story books about knitting and I'm always looking for some new ones.

Ooh. Is this an older book or more recent?
